Unit description RSR research line is about energy certification to improve the therm-hygrometric comfort inside buildings through the utilization of renewable energy (solar, geothermal, etc.) and new materials.

Goals: setup of a facility for environmental tests, needed by the the design and industrialization of power plants and components (less than 150 KW) for HVAC conversions.

  • facilty setup: design and assembly;

  • characterization of mini/micro cogenerators and other components for highest energy efficiency;

  • characterization of components and integrated systems.

Field of application: civil constructions, industrial constructions, social housing, energy efficiency.
